Weekend 21-22/2/09

Hi all,
On the weekend, basically spent it at the NUSCCS(NUS Chancellor's Challenge Shield). It's a  competition testing on current affairs and I had so much fun. Only the JC people were there upon my arrival and one of them was nice enough to lend me their practise test papers. Out of 25 MCQ, I guessed 20 and knew 5, and my score was 8, which was well done, considering that the current average was 7. When a  senior called out "I got 7!" and the nice J2 senior who lent me that paper went "The Sec 1 got 8!", I was like "Er..." So anyway, Li Ki got 9 and Glendon could have got 10 and above, but the J2 seniors stopped him when he got 4 out of the first 7 questions correct (Everyone could only get 2 at the most). The prelim paper was really difficult, and I guessed 45/50. After comparing answers with the JC team, however, I realised I had scored 8/50. I never knew that Poland was in the EU, but there you are.

But why am being so boring? Main points now. We had lunch with the NYGH team, which composed of 3 Sec 4s. I knew one of them, for she was my first debate coach's girlfriend. So anyway, now those NYGH people know me, but they didn't really speak to me, cause I was doing my Japanese homework and they were playing bridge. After lunch, which was from 11.25 to 1.15, HCJC got into finals, and they won NUS and VJC. Apparently one of them wanted to pee in the last round.
On Sunday, I did all my homework, played 1 and 1/2 hours of table tennis  and forgot about my ACE.

So that's all for today and my first posts, and seriously, go spend your time on more constructive stuff like doing your ACE, unless you just lost an argument with your toy Tigger(haha).

Cheers,
Darrel
